WHO ARE WE?

We are the women of Empower Church. Everyone needs encouragement in life, so getting together to laugh, share & just have time out together is important. We women are busy making everything work in our worlds & for those around us, so we make a point of scheduling some events during the year… just for us.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We have auctions, bidding for a great range of items & knowing that the proceeds will go to Hagar (an organisation that rescues women & children from slavery). We have progressive dinners, where we load up the cars & navigate our way around the city to enjoy a 3-course feast & a message of encouragement at each stop. We have art & craft nights… discovering hidden skills, or just enjoying a night out together & a break from routines.

HOW MUCH FUN DO YOU REALLY HAVE?

There’s always something different planned, always a great supper provided, often a greater purpose than just our own enjoyment. But our nights out are always filled with fun & laughter as we get together to enjoy being a diverse group of women who love God & each other.

It’s a great opportunity to bring friends, for a low key, fun way to discover the goodness of God in this world. Remember, you belong here.
